Winners at the Global Awards 2018!
We are delighted to have won the award for International Service Provider in the Global Awards 2018, run by Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce.
The Global Awards 2018, launched by Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, recognise success in international markets.
The awards are aimed at recognising Chamber members in four different categories, which are:
- Award for International Service Provider
- Award for Achievement in New Markets
- Award for Overall Growth in Exports
- New Exporter of the Year
Here are the winners:
Award for International Service Provider
WINNER: Anglia Translations Ltd
For over two years Anglia Translations have been working with a Cambridge based company, helping them to translate their website into nine languages. Their client has seen a 60% growth in the last year. Export sales now account for 90% of their total sales and they are exporting to 47 countries. Plus, they have opened sales offices in Germany and the US.
As Mary Gilbey, Managing Director or Anglia Translations explains, “We are really pleased with being recognised as the international service provider in the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce global awards. We work with many local companies in Cambridgeshire, supporting them in their international business strategies, and so it is nice to be recognised for this. Quite often, it is the exporter who is recognised for their achievements in export, but these awards are good as they also represent the companies who support these businesses in their international growth.”
Award for Achievement in New Markets
WINNER: Yours Clothing Ltd
In 2017, Yours Clothing identified Germany as a new market. They now have on average 800 new customers per week using their German website with revenue jumping by £158k per week.
Award for Overall Growth in Exports
WINNER: Linx Printing Technologies Ltd
Linx holds a large and growing worldwide market share and in 2017 they grew their market share across most regions with clear annual growth drivers underpinning double-digit growth.
New Exporter of the Year
WINNER: Finsen Technologies Ltd
Since launching their UVC disinfection technologies to the international marketplace in June 2016, Finsen has successfully sold products to 14 markets across Europe, Middle East, USA and Australia.
